Jade's room

Looking for a female roommate to fill 1 bedroom in my 2b/1ba apartment. Available from September 1, 2022. Rent is $1100 per month plus deposit (half a month’s rent). Wifi and hydro is extra, split between us.

Great Kits location near West 4th including groceries, transit, restaurants, pubs. 7 mins walk to the beach. There is street parking and a few first come, first serve, resident spots. Coin washer and dryer in building. The apartment is lovely and bright.

Looking for someone aged 30-40, chill, clean and tidy (especially in the kitchen and bathroom), respectful, independent and who appreciates a calm space to call home. You are working full time, ideally not from home all the time. Someone who doesn’t cook meat at home or is vegan/vegetarian would be a bonus.

As part of the application, the property manager will require proof of salary, credit check and references.

The bedroom is unfurnished but can be furnished - the roommate leaving is willing to sell. The rest of the apartment is furnished some by me and some by the current roommate and is to be determined if staying. If you have a couch or table to bring, that would work. And plants are always welcome. A cat is allowed (with pet deposit). I would love to get one, or foster, but it hasn’t happened yet.

About me: (nearly) 33 yr old female. Clean, tidy, vegan and a sociable introvert. Home is usually recharge time. I like catching up but also mindful of others’ and my personal space. I work Mon-Friday mostly from home currently, sometimes downtown. Outside of work I love working out, hiking, camping, snowboarding, concerts, netflixing, the usual Vancouver stuff :)
