Situated in the center of Downtown Vancouver, with around 1,000 sq. ft. of living space, comes with a private ensuite bathroom for yourself, and is steps away from all the amenities Downtown Vancouver has to offer, for only $1,420 per month with all utilities and internet included.

That’s right, you haven’t heard this wrong, this kind of deal still exists today!

This unit will be suitable for a busy professional or student looking for comfort and convenience, and of course, a good roommate. Please note that this is an economical unit that offers decent values and comfort, but it is not a fancy unit.

Location

A few short blocks away from Yaletown (about 2-3 min walk) and 1 block away to Davie. It is a few blocks away from all the nightclubs, so it is relatively quiet at night considering that this is a Downtown Vancouver
Walking distance to pretty much anywhere downtown as this building is literally in the middle of the downtown core

Rent

The monthly rent is $1,420, which includes internet and other utilities
Damage deposit will be $710
Also, there is a mandatory $250 move-in fee which is a requirement to pay the strata

The building

It is the Imperial Tower (811 Helmcken)
Each level has its own laundry room which is where we do laundry
There is a very nice gym that has a pool table and ping pong table
It has a sauna room as well

The unit

Very spacious with a solarium, high ceiling
Just got new flooring, and the furniture is not moved back yet until next weekend when I have some time. Therefore, the living room is empty in the picture.

The room

A private bedroom with its own ensuite 4-piece bathroom
A decent size closet
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. It is a hydraulic bed so there will be lots of storage under the bed.
There is a stand-up adjustable desk desk.
The windows are covered by trees so it is not very hot even if it is 30C+ outside.

Restrictions For everyone’s health and safety, there are a few restrictions to be noted:

No smoking or vaping
No parties or loud gatherings

About the roomies

I am your roommate. Male, early 30s. Business professional with multiple side hustles, so I’m very busy. I stay in my bedroom with my own bathroom. I’m very into fitness and the outdoors. Love going to the gym, running, hiking, fishing, and kayaking. I go to Whistler and the BC Interior a lot, and I don’t mind going for adventures together. Overall, I’m open-minded, mostly quiet when I’m working but moderately social. That being said, I will respect your space, but since we will be sharing the same home so if you are someone who wants to be a stranger, we probably won’t be a good fit.
