Looking to rent out a furnished room in a 2b2b condo:)

You will get (pros): a private furnished bedroom with balcony and a private washroom. Kitchen and living area are shared. Laundry, hydro, water and wifi are all included. The unit is facing south, so we get plenty of sunshine throughout the day. Parking is not included, but there are some parking spaces available for rent from other unit. Walking distance to Square One, Sheridan College, grocery stores, and plenty of food options nearby. The building is well maintained, comes with a gym, a basketball court/badminton court and many other amenities.

Things to consider (cons): The construction site nearby starts from 7am on weekdays. The internet is not the best. I tried everything including a wifi extender but somehow it’s still not very fast.

Hi! I’m a working professional in my late 20s. I’m a private person so you won’t have the pressure to socialize too much. I’m very clean, don’t smoke and rarely drink. I don’t cook very often. Atheist if that matters. I’m hoping to share the condo with someone with a similar lifestyle, but this is not a checklist of course.

The room will be available late August, and move-in date is flexible. Rental term is flexible, as long as we give each other a two-month notice if anything changes. I’m the owner and I will be very careful when it comes to choosing a roommate. I will need: a copy of an ID, last month and key deposit, proof of income/funds, and credit score. Students with proof of funds are also welcome (I used to rent as a student so I know the struggles).
