Hi,

We are 2 women in our thirties looking for a third roommate to share a 5 1/2 apartment in Westmount. The room is unfurnished but I have a new twin ikea mattress unused available if you need it. The apartment is really great – 3 bedrooms (set up in such a way that no bedroom walls meet so there is a real sense of privacy), windows on 3 sides of the apartment so there is a great deal of light, a sit-in kitchen, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and a shared rooftop terrace with an incredible view up the mountain.

The building is quite small with only six apartments in total and located on a quiet side street near Westmount park. We are about half-way between metros Atwater and Vendome so there is access to both the green and orange lines. You can reach either on foot in about ten minutes or via routes 90 or 63 along St. Catherine. All amenities are within walking distance. Laundry in the building. The rent does not include heat or internet but they are quite reasonable.

We are both woman in our thirties, quiet, clean and respectful. I’m a writer and I work from home and spend a great deal of time shut away in my bedroom working but I can be quite talkative when I emerge and enjoy sharing a good chat. This is a great apartment in which to get work done because it is so quiet (no traffic noises and the neighbours might as well be kittens) so if you’re a grad student or a professional or anyone who requires a quiet and pleasant place to concentrate, this is the apartment for you.

My roommate is a student from Columbia who also works part time. She is very quiet and respectful.

We are looking for someone with similar sensibilities to us (that is quiet, respectful, clean and mature). We would also prefer someone who works outside of the home with a firm, predictable schedule. The moving date is felxable.
