About the room
Hi Roommate,
The place is in Crescent Heights, just across the Bow River from downtown Calgary—close to SAIT and not far from UofC, making it ideal for students. Street parking permits are easy to get, and there’s bike storage in the building. Shared laundry is cheap, rarely busy, and on the same floor.
Rent is $800/month, including all utilities and fiber optic high-speed internet. You’ll also have access to my SmartTV in the shared living room. The kitchen is fully stocked (microwave, toaster oven, oven, fridge/freezer, basic cookware, dishes) and you’re welcome to use my rice cooker and Instant Pot when available. There’s no dishwasher, but plenty of affordable nearby restaurants.
The bathroom is easy to keep clean with good hot water and water pressure. There’s space for your toiletries and some room for linens. Your private room is carpeted, has a full-sized window, a closet, radiator heating, and comes with a chair (optional), door hanger, and garbage can.
Move-in is available the last weekend of June into July, $800 damage deposit. Rent will be prorated if you move in mid-month. I’ll need references to confirm steady income, and we’ll do an in-person interview/showing to see if we’re a good fit.
If interested, please contact me to schedule a showing.
Thanks, Spencer
About the roomies
I’m an independent, active guy who enjoys Jiu-Jitsu, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and watching movies when I have downtime. I like to keep things clean and organized, but I’m not obsessive—I’m fine with some mess as long as there’s order to it. I expect my roommates to share that same standard of cleanliness and respect for the space.
I believe we’ll get along well if we both take responsibility when things slip and communicate openly. Life’s too short for passive-aggressiveness—let’s be honest, direct, and work together to keep a positive living environment.
