Seeking to sublet a room in my suite. Female, Trans/ non-binary persons preferred (NO COUPLES) sorry. Vegetarian/vegan preferred (if you don’t cook a lot of meat it might be negotiable please let me know and we can discuss it) Month to month sublet minimum 3 months preferred. Students welcome.

I am subletting a room in my 2 bedroom main floor suite in a large house in East Vancouver. Starting April 1st 2023 Roomate situation with just me

Less than 10 minute walk to skytrain and grocery stores and major bus routes.

The house has 5 seperate suites so we have neighbors on all sides tho it’s pretty chill and everyone is nice. I am on one of the busier streets in the city so there is traffic noise. Fyi! Also now construction across the road. Light sleepers need not apply.

12’x9’ bedroom with smallish funky shaped closet. A bit of various other storage space throughout the suite for other things if you should need it. $950/month all inclusive. rent, heat, hot water and high speed internet. Shared coin laundry is in the house separately. (2$ wash and 2$dry)

No pets Room is minimally furnished single bed with a pillow and new bed linens, small dresser and some hangers for the closet. I could possibly get a desk and chair if needed.

The suite is quite large, bedrooms are on opposite sides of the suite. Large windows. The bathroom is small in comparison to the rest of the suite but decent size it has glass enclosed shower with detachable shower head. Bedroom comes with large dark gold curtains helps block out the light.
I have lived here for 9 years. My house is pretty well kept. I enjoy a clean house but I’m not a crazy nut about it. Making a cleaning schedule might be best tho I am happy to take on a little more of the work load. we can discuss further.

Non smoking house. 420 friendly but not in the house. No on site parking!!

I have many house plants and enjoy board games, hiking, aquafit and going to the community fitness centre. I’ve a had half a handful of roommates come and go.
