Daniel's room

6 room 2 bath home located in Cedar. Lots of space as there will only be 3 of us living there (possibly one more in January). There is a massive backyard with a firepit, a large garage for storage, tons of storage, a full time guest room (If you have people passing through town I hope you’ll invite them to stay!). A large outdoor east facing deck, and a covered patio downstairs as well. Off street parking (but also street parking is plentiful if we have visitors).

About the room

Room would fit a double bed (with stuff) or queen sized bed (with less stuff) - $750 +15% hydro

**I’ll obviously be paying the bulk of the hydro bill, so the hydro portion is really just an accountability piece. 15% hydro will be anywhere from 5-40 dollars as temperatures fluctuate).

About me: During the school year, I’m a mature student attending VIU’s education program. Over summer, I’ve been working for the Invasive Species Council of BC doing field work to remove invasive plants on the island. I’m an avid mountain biker, hiker, and love to camp. I’m also a bedroom musician and often spend hours working on music in my little studio! Don’t worry, mostly using headphones :). I enjoy being social, but I also appreciate may own quiet time. I’m an early morning and early to bed sort of person, but I’m very mindful about respecting the schedules of others as well :). I enjoy cooking (mostly plant based with occasional fish), and I make a mean pizza!

About you: It would be awesome if we shared common hobbies and interests, but if you are a kind and mindful human who is open to communication, we’re 90% there! I’m ideally looking for people who’d like to be here for awhile rather than a few months. This is a non smoking space (sorry to those who smoke, I know it must be difficult to find somewhere), and while I really enjoy social evenings, if you’re heavy into party mode this space probably isn’t a good fit for either of us!
