Danica's room

Our home is located in Fairfield, a quick walk to Cook St Village, shopping , bus stops and downtown.

We have a large room available with basic furnishings such as; lamps, desk, chair, bookshelf, dresser, rug and a bed (you supply own sheets, coverings etc). The room features hardwood floors, a good sized closet, street-facing window (with blackout curtains).

This is ideal for someone looking for shorter term arrangements while they get to know the area, works and travels quite a bit, or are attending school.

Also featured: laundry, internet, shared kitchen and bathroom* (we would need to work around my child’s AM/PM routine, but that’s doable).

Secured indoor bike storage, or space for whatever else you might have is available—within reason, as well a room in the basement that could be an office or your own hang out area (we can discuss). Street parking is available. We have a very friendly cat so roomie must be pet-friendly. No additional pet requests please.

I work from home most of the time, so looking for an independent, respectful and relatively quiet roomie who is okay doing their own thing with the occasional hang with us if it suits you—no pressure.

In addition, I have one school-age child who is gone from 8:30 to around 5:00 every day, though home and around on weekends (expect some action around the house).

We are pretty active, and spend a fair amount of time outdoors, or off doing our own thing and hope our potential roomie is similar.

There will be a few other things to discuss ($ towards heat/maintenance ) but if this sounds interesting, feel free to reach out and we can set up a call, or I can send more photos.

Note: I am looking for shorter term tenant to start (1-3 months) with the potential for long-term depending on how things go (6+months). It’ll basically come down to overall vibe😊Happy to discuss!
