Cass's room

Located on a quiet street near Byward Market, it is a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride (~5 min) to the uOttawa campus, 10 minute walk to the rideau centre, and has access to the OTrain and key bus routes throughout the city on top of the nearby grocery stores and other essentials.

The available bedroom is the smallest one, however the unit is quite spacious, the living/dining room has plenty of space, and lots of room in the kitchen to move around and keep your stuff. The bed frame can be included but it’s super broken so you’re probably best to bring your own or get a new one.

There is no in-unit laundry, however there is on-site paid laundry for tenants across a small parking lot. Bathroom has a full bathtub.

We have two cats so we are looking for someone who is alright with moving into a household with pets. We would prefer no other cats or dogs, we can certainly be flexible if you’re also looking to bring a pet friend along with you!

We have two balconies, one on the front of the house and one in the back that has a barbecue as well as stairs. The unit is on the second floor of the building (no elevator).

A parking spot does not come with the unit but may be requested through the rental company.

We would prefer to find someone who hopes to live here on a longer-term basis (1 year+) but we are willing to be flexible as long as the rental company allows it.

Sleepwell Property management company owns and operates this unit, so you will have to apply with them in order to be approved. They give us the opportunity to find possible housemates, but it’s ultimately up to them, so if we feel it will be a good fit with you, we will send you their contact information so they can get in touch and start the application process.

We are two lgbtq+ females in our 20s! I have two cats. We are both pretty quiet, one of us is a student and the other works full time. We enjoy doing an occasional roomie dinner, movie night, or game night! We also enjoy going out for drinks or activities outside the house when we have time :)
