I have an unfurnished bedroom that I would like to rent to one other person in a two-bedroom house. I am looking to share my space with a clean/tidy professional. Common areas are shared. It also has a big back yard with garden space.

FAQ:

• Is it furnished? The common areas (e.g., kitchen, living room) are furnished but the room for rent is unfurnished. I may have a few pieces of extra furniture to help out if needed.

• What are the dimensions of the room? 117in x 150in, not including closet and storage area.

• Is there storage? Yes, there is storage space beside the bedroom and also some room downstairs in the basement.

• Is there a washer and dryer? Yes, they are both in the basement.

• Is it pet-friendly? Sorry. No pets are permitted.

• How many people are you looking for? I am looking to share this space with one other person. I am not looking to rent to couples at this time.

• Do I share the bathroom with anyone? Yes, the bathroom is shared with me.

• Is the kitchen shared? Yes, it’s a shared kitchen.

• What does the rent include? Rent includes all utilities (power, gas, electricity, etc) and wifi.

• Is there parking on site? Street parking is available for free. There is a large driveway which we might be able to share and can discuss.

• Is there anything else I should know? Yes, at one point the house belonged to someone with a disability so the bathroom door is on a sliding track and there is a ramp in the back of the house. There also is an elevator but it has been sealed for safety reasons. There is a fireplace in the living room but that has also been sealed.
