I live in a beautiful Victorian home in Strathcona. In between Downtown and Commercial Dr. We are surrounded by parks and diversity.

House is about 1400 sq ft. 2 Floors. Tenant’s room will be downstairs and I’m upstairs. Washroom on both floors. Room larger than average with big bay window. Quiet. Wood floors. House just painted. It’s a gem of a place that I have lived in for 24 years. Pictures of house and room have been uploaded. I clicked private bathroom because it did not give me option to click 2 washrooms, 1 on each floor.

Rent is $1050 everything included even internet. It’s a steal because I have put so much money and energy into this house over the last 24 years that my landlord loves me and keeps the rent much lower than average. Even though I clicked 12 months maximum, I only did that so we can base it on how well we live together. If we are a good match, it could be years.

I will be very discerning when picking a roommate and I don’t want to get anyones hopes up so If you are interested, let’s meet and interview each other to see if we’d be a fit. I am looking for someone who has a stable job, good mental health, grounded, clean, warm, joyful but also likes quiet. No partiers or smokers. 1 small-ish do ok.
