About the room
Situated in the exclusive Capital Park Residences development of James Bay, just minutes walk to the harbour and downtown Victoria and on bus routes to just about anywhere, my impeccably appointed two bedroom, three bath condo (1180 sq ft), in-suite laundry and with a beautiful south facing patio offers Victoria living at its finest. You will have your own fully furnished and appointed bedroom (18βx10β) and full bathroom en suite with water, hydro and free internet included. A secure bicycle storage and use of the building gym are yours free if needed. Parking is available for rent from one of the other condo owners. The building is a totally non-smoking environment. Everything you might want is within easy reach, including supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, parks , pharmacy, dentists, and more. You might even find yourself enjoying some homemade baking!
About the roomies
Judy, my 16 years old small, very quiet doggie, and I would love to welcome a guest in our home who enjoys good conversation, congenial company, and an appreciation for the great things life has to offer. I am a retired teacher, a single gay man, an educated world traveller and passionate cook, baker, gardener, and artist. I value and celebrate diversity and inclusion of people from all walks of life. I would prefer a gay male roommate or one who is gay friendly. I respect others privacy and space and, at the same time, enjoy spending time with fellow roommates of which I have had a number. You are someone who cares to keep his accommodation clean and tidy and is respectful and considerate of those who share the space. Sorry, no sleep overs (that is non-negotiable), no smokers or drugs, and no pets as Judy is too advanced in years to adjust to a new canine addition. Initially, the accommodation will be offered on a six month basis to give us both an opportunity to see whether we want to enter into a longer term arrangement. Credit/background check will be required.
