What’s up, my name is Kate, and I’m looking for a roommate!
I am a self-employed Graphic Designer, and I am usually at my studio from 10-6/M-F with my two very friendly, well-behaved dogs named Rigby & Rupert. In my spare time, I like to go for dog walks, hikes, skiing, biking around town, and am generally out and about for adventures. I like music festivals/live music/listening to music, art, design, eating out, cooking at home, working out, and hanging out with my family and friends. I am also the President of the Condo Board in my building, so I make sure the building is well maintained and cared for (I’m landscaping this year, so if you like gardening, there’s lots). I have a dry sense of humour and try not to take myself too seriously. I’m open-minded, tidy (like a 8/10), considerate and kind, and I am looking for the same in a roommate.
I am 420 and alcohol friendly in social moderation. I have friends over sporadically for dinner, but the work week is generally quiet. On the weekends I’m out and about, or doing a house project, or out with friends. I rarely bring the party home because while I love to socialize, I also really love sleep.
This place is great if you want to be downtown but not IN downtown. It’s also great if you’re new to the city and want to get your bearings in a central, cozy community. It’s also great if you like dogs, but don’t want the responsibility of owning one.
All you have to bring is bedroom stuff, and this place is fully set up for move in! Available October 1 (can negotiate earlier).
