My current roommate is moving out, which means I’m on the hunt for a new one! Looking for a new friend to take her spot in our 2 bed, 2 bath apartment in Sunset/South Van, starting in September. Rent is $1570 per month, plus internet and hydro (and parking is available for $150 per month, if you’d like). Female preferred, but open to other genders if you’re the right fit!

🏠 ABOUT THE SPACE: We got insuite laundry, air conditioning, and heating, in a total of 800 sqft. The building is pet-friendly, and I’d be okay with a small furry (or scaly, or feathery, or slimy) friend if you got one! You get the master bedroom, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with a shower. Furnish it as you’d like! The kitchen and living room are mostly furnished, though I may ask you to split the costs of additional purchases. Note that we don’t have a TV (nor space for one) but you’re welcome to get one for your room.

🔎 ABOUT YOU: You’re a working professional or student in your 20s-30s, who takes your career seriously (but not too seriously). You’re responsible, clean, and considerate of shared spaces. You’re open-minded, friendly, and get along with new people.

💟 ABOUT THE HOUSEHOLD: We share almost everything and take care of each other, but stay accountable for our own actions. We’re (reasonably) low waste and conscious of our environmental impact. Good food, good people, good music, and good conversation is the norm. Expect frequent hosting, cultural celebrations, baking sessions, and helping each other learn and grow.
