Hi all, I have rented a 2-bed, 1 bath apartment in a brand-new high-rise. The unit is 680 square feet total, and there is an 84 square foot balcony. The building includes amenities such as a patio area, as well as a small gym. Apartment is furnished, however the room itself is not, so you will be required to bring some of your own stuff.

There is an in-suite washer and dryer, and the kitchen is equipped with the standard kitchen appliances.

The building is a two minute walk from downtown, and a quick bus ride to most other parts of the city. Parking is available, however the landlord charges roughly $50 per month for a parking space.

Pets are allowed, however do note that there is a pet deposit of $1388.50 that you will be required to pay to the landlord.

The current lease does expire in September, however you will have first priority to be on a resigned lease for another year.

You will have the option to move in at anytime in may or June.

My girlfriend Daycie and I are looking for a roommate to occupy an empty room in our apartment.

We are both easy going, and fairly quiet, but still down to hang out or chat. We are fairly outdoorsy, but still enjoy having lazy days at home.

I am a student in my 3rd year of studying electrical engineering at UVic. I am one of the team leads at UVic formula racing, where I lead the battery design team of our first student built electric racecar. As such, I often get home a bit on the later side.

Daycie will be working at a nearby acupuncture clinic, so both of us will be gone for big parts of the day, returning in the evening.
