Room can come furnished (side table, queen bed frame, dresser) or unfurnished. There is also room to put a desk. The apartment is in an older building so it’s very spacious with hardwood floors. South facing with lots of light. Includes: balcony with chairs (6th floor so a decent view), dining room (we will move that computer set up in the picture to my husband’s bedroom), living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, kettle, coffee maker, crock pot, microwave, dishwasher, etc. There is a second double closet and dresser to store extra belongings in the common space. You can park bikes in the garage (must be arranged with the building). Use of an indoor parking space is negotiable. There is a community terrace where you can put a barbeque. Pay laundry is available in the basement. Great TTC access. Apartment is located on Eglinton Ave W and Spadina, in front of a bus stop that can take you to Eglinton Subway Station, Eglinton W Station or St Clair W Station in about 10-15 minutes. Soon the new LRT station will open about a minute walk away. One of the safest neighbourhoods in Toronto. Walking distance to pharmacies, walk-in clinics, groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, community center with pool etc. Behind the building is the Beltline trail (a 9-kilometre-long cycling and walking forested trail). You would be welcome to have guests over (as long as we don’t get complaints from the neighbours and you aren’t letting them move in/airbnb etc). Pets are also negotiable (depends on number, size, breed). Price includes: Internet, Water and Hydro.

You would share with my husband: 47 male professional/owner of condo. This listing is perfect for a couple as he will very rarely be at the property. Single people are welcome but might find it lonely. He will have his own private bedroom that he will stay in about once a week (usually Tuesday night). Please note that when he is there, he will be out for the evening returning home quite late (1-2 am). Then will work remotely from his room in the apartment the next day and leave by about 5 pm. This means you will not cross paths much (if at all). He won’t really store much food there, so you will have almost exclusive use of the fridge and the kitchen. Also, he won’t be there long enough to watch tv most of the time, so the large screen tv in living room will be at your disposal. He smokes but does so on the balcony and you and your guests would be expected to do the same. There is no smoking in the apartment. We are looking for people who are interested in renting long term but it would be an occupant agreement which is not covered by the Landlord Tenant Act. Ideally we would find a couple who will love the apartment as much as we have.
