About the room
Completely Furnished with high end Tempurpedic mattress, quality linens.
Very Quiet. The first photo of the very small bedroom shows room at night; next shows large closet with small dresser. The third photo is a daytime summer photo. Your bedroom looks into the garden courtyard, far away from street noise.
(Sorry ad is in English only. I try to communicate in French, have difficulty.) All languages welcome.
Location: Central Aylmer, near rue Principale, pubs, restaurants, Tim’s, very close. SuperC grocery store, drug store, bank, mall across the street. Buses to Ottawa, Hull, Gatineau at street.
Building: Quality, built in 2012, concrete, very secure, very well maintained and clean. Walls between condos are almost sound proof. 10 ft. high concrete ceilings.
Condo: If you are looking for a quiet place to call home, i think this is it. Very Quiet and clean small condo, faces south, on main floor with walk out from living room into lovely courtyard.
Best for: a professional / full-time working person who needs a quiet, private place to come home to, or who only works limited time from home, or who wants a guaranteed room when visiting area.
May request and copy ID, proof of employment, may request background check.
Terms: Payment On or Before First of month.$600. cash. in full. If other methods of payment used, $700. in full.
Unofficial, signed receipts provided for your security. I request 2 months initial stay with payment one month at a time.
After initial 2 months, you are welcome to stay month to month, and for 12 months or longer, if we both feel comfortable. We will decide upon terms that are agreeable to both. I am very flexible.
Included: use of all condo apartment, kitghen, dining, living room, patio. Also includes all hydro, bills, water/hot water, high speed 60 internet, Videotron Helix, in-house washer/dryer, iron, vacuums, 2 sets high quality sheets, blankets, 1 set of towels, all detergents (please tell me if you have a preference and I will provide), soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, kleenex, cleaning products, etc. Please provide your own shampoos and personal items.
Included: All dishes, cutlery, pots, spices, coffee maker, tea pot, living room, kitchen table, etc. No need for your own dishes or pots, unless you prefer.
My hope is that you feel comfortable and at home. I respect your space and your privacy. I am quiet and often out.
Your bedroom: 10 foot ceiling, very clean, newer Queen size Tempurpedic mattress/ box spring, long desk (15.75 in. X 6 ft) with industrial stool, 10 ft. high double closet with 2 wire shelves & a small dresser in closet. 2 nightstands, each with small storage, tower fan, privacy shade and blackout draperies. Shared Bathroom: shower in tub, you have 2 large private drawers at sink area, 2 shelves in linen closet for supplied towels and sheets. (You are certainly welcome to use your own, but these are provided, if you wish.)
Shared Kitchen: small walk-in kitchen with your own half of newer fridge/freezer, deep pot drawer (for food, storage, whatever you wish) and 2 large, deep shelves in cupboards.
Gym: full access to a complete gym with air conditioning and 2 televisions.
Cooling /heating: Air exchange unit in living room. Air conditioning doesn’t extend well into bedrooms, unless doors open. Tower fan in bedroom. Heating: electric baseboard in bedroom. White sound machine, if you like to use.
Parking: not currently assigned, but free exterior parking is available very close by. On occasion, an assigned indoor or outdoor parking space becomes available for rent. (separate agreement between you and the co-owner. I can facilitate).
Visitors: Friend(s), family welcome to visit or have dinner. Just let me know and I will accommodate or leave for your privacy.
I appreciate no overnight guests; but of course, we can discuss exceptions.
Party room in condo Library /Conference room on same floor (ground floor) available for Parties, through advance request to condominium. Nominal fee to condo board and their regulations apply. (I will facilitate).
This room can also be used as extra space or for additional privacy, when not booked. No fees.
Cleaning: I’ll keep everything in common living spaces Very Clean.
I am very respectful of your privacy.
Request that bedroom be vacuumed (you or me, on a weekly basis, for dust allergies and to maintain a clean condo.) There is a canister vacuum and a Roomba.
Request regular washing of bed sheets (each week or max every 2 weeks) to maintain a clean mattress.
Request towels washed at least once a week, please.
You may prefer to do yourself, but it is included in your rent, if you wish.
Your 2 large sheves in Linen closet in bathroom are great for storing clean sheets and towels.
In-apartment washer and dryer (apartment sized) available at your convenience.
Television: use of small TV in living room, or your own in bedroom (sorry, 2nd TV not provided). I have Videotron Helix. Netflix not included, but can be at your cost. High speed internet included in rent.
Persons using any pronoun are most welcome ie. he/she/they/them/xe/etc. All ethnicities, nationalities, religions very welcome and respected.
After meeting, we would agree or compromise on requests and conditions so we both feel comfortable sharing small condo. I am flexible and very respectful of your privacy.
I will provide a signed informal agreement that we both approve.
No Smoking, Vaping or any form of Cannabis please. Condo Board does not allow smoking on their property, inside or outside, except in the designated area.

About the roomies
I am a quiet, retired, divorced female. My career was in the Federal Government, Sr. Procurement and contract law. Secret security clearance is still valid due to previous contract work. I have lived mostly in Aylmer and area. I am often out. The only other roomie is a quiet, older indoor cat who mostly stays in my room or living room.
