This is a low-rise, smoke-free 6 suite building populated by adults . For that reason, I am looking for a mature (at least mentally) roommate to share my place. He or she can be young (18-25) or more seasoned. Students or working adults are welcome. Boozers, druggies and smokers are not wanted here. I do not supply a bed… however, if you want it, I DO have a queen size, inflatable bed (not an air mattress) that you are welcome to. It comes with a quilted mattress cover, pillows and linens. The apartment is clean, carpeted, very spacious and well-equipped with everything but a dishwasher. It is humidified and the environment is good for health and prevention of dry skin, eyes and noses. No more nose bleeds! You will not get sick living here. There is a FREE laundry in the building one floor down. I keep my place clean, fresh and odour-free. My roommate should appreciate that and want to maintain the high standard. I prefer an educated professional or student. I would prefer a female but a male is ok too.

I do ask for a $100 refundable key deposit as the building doors require high security keys that, if lost, are expensive (and inconvenient) to replace.

I am a SENIOR male with high standards. I am university educated and I am looking for a roommate to lessen my monthly rental cost. I love classical music and good popular music. I have vinyl records and a turntable to play them on. Though I am a senior, I am mentally sharp and enjoy witty banter with my roommate. The CBC is my major source of news and culture. My politics are somewhat left of center. I am no fascist! On the phone, I sound like I’m 35. I’m not. I am not a phony or a religious zealot and don’t want one here. Honesty, transparency, trustworthiness and cleanliness are absolutely required.. The room is available as soon as my current roommate moves out. One more thing. People who love dogs will get along with me. That said, though I used to have a Labrador here for ten years, I am not looking for another dog. I just think responsible people who gravitate towards dogs, especially large dogs, will get along with me.

If you rent from me, you will be living in a SAFE, clean and positive environment by a beautiful park with large mature trees and only a block away from transit. Parking is free and available. Come on down!
