About the room
This is a low-rise, smoke-free 6 suite building populated by adults . For that reason, I am looking for a mature (at least mentally) roommate to share my place. She can be young (18-25) or more seasoned. Students or working adults are welcome. I keep a clean and orderly living space. If you are not used to that, forget the idea of living here. Because I have some mobility challenges, my bathroom has some assist handles in the bath/shower for safety. RULES: There are some. Eating is done at the dining table; not on the couch. Cleaning of the common areas is shared. No dishes are left unwashed overnight and put away once they are dry. Other things can be discussed. I do not supply a bed… however, if you want it, I DO have a queen size, inflatable bed (not an air mattress) that you are welcome to. It comes with a quilted mattress cover and linens. The apartment is clean, carpeted, spacious and well-equipped with everything but a dishwasher. There is a FREE laundry in the building one floor down. MRU is five minutes from here by car or ten minutes by bus. The bus is one block away and can take you directly to MRU or to the Westbrook C Train station. I am open to accommodating a person who can accept reasonable rules of behaviour. Shopping is close by and convenient. We are located on a quiet crescent away from noise and traffic with a lovely quiet park in front of our building. It is an idyllic place to read, reflect and commune with nature. There are bunnies, birds, dog walkers, families and squirrels that can be observed while eating at the dining table. I have been here for 20 years and I love it.
About the roomies
Just me. I am a senior male with high standards. I am looking for a roommate to lessen my monthly rental cost. No freaks or druggies please.
