The room:

• 1 bedroom (see #1 on floorplan in the pictures)
• Bathroom shared with 1 other (male)
• Can be rented with a full size bed and a small desk (different than the desk in the picture). If you have a single/twin bed it would allow for a better layout of the room.
• Utilities, wifi, laundry included

The house:

• Fully furnished 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house
• Bright and open living space with high ceilings
• Kitchen with dishwasher and double sink. Fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, blender, kitchen aid mixer etc.
• Laundry room with washer and dryer
• Back patio area with small veggie garden, seating area, propane fire pit, BBQ

Location:

• Quiet neighborhood
• 1 minute walk to Centennial Park (sports fields and some nice trails)
• 1 minute walk to Prosser Rd/East Saanich bus stop (routes 72,75, 81, 82, 87)
• 10 minute walk to grocery store
• many nearby farm stands selling fresh vegetables and eggs

Current roomies:

• Me: I am female, late 20’s, mechanical engineer. I work from home. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exercising and socializing.
• Roommate #1: Female, late 20’s, works as a registered massage therapist. Enjoys many of the same things I do, as well as art and reading.
• Roommate #2: Male, mid 20’s, works as helicopter engineer. Often travelling for work and pleasure.
• Our cat: Male, 3 years old, very cute.
• As a whole, we are easy going, friendly, and tidy. We’ll occasionally have friends over for a board game night, dinner or a movie, and are always happy to have the roommates join in.

Our ideal roommate:

• Tidy, respectful of common space.
• With 4 people sharing 1 kitchen we find it works best if we each have 1 or 2 nights per week that we meal prep food for the rest of the week, so a roommate who also prefers to meal prep is preferred.
• We have had great experiences both with individuals who share many of our interests and want to join in on bike rides, ski trips etc, as well as those who like to keep mostly to themselves but are happy to share a story and a laugh every now and then.
