Located in Vancouver’s West End, the apartment is a nicely renovated older build, with tons of natural light, and large windows that give the space a sense of openness. Each bedroom has its own step out balcony and there are two larger balconies off the living area. Message for more photos/video (video upload kept failing).

Super close to transit, and walking distance to two beaches, Stanley Park and all the shops, restaurants and cafes, and to the heart of downtown Vancouver. There is street parking (non-permit). You’ll have your own bedroom.and your own full sized bathroom (not shared), and use of a pretty well stocked kitchen.

Your bedroom is not furnished, but the main living area is partly furnished (kitchen table, chairs, kitchen island/shelving, hutch, small couch). There will be room for a second couch or a couple of arm chairs if you have any furniture you want to bring.

About me, woman, professional/self-employed in food science r&d, product development and business development, along with several other projects. I have an 18 year old cat, who is very chill. Another cat could be welcome.

I am pretty easy going, like clear communication, have had a very good relationship with current roommate (he’s moving to Toronto for job promotion), and we are friends. We’ve established a very easy co-living situation, and I am hoping to replicate the same with a new housemate.

I am plantbased/vegan but do not require my roommate to be. I have friends over occasionally for dinner/catching up, and sometimes have work colleagues over for work sessions. I do work hybrid (part from home, part off site), but often find cafes or other locations to ‘work from home’.

I am looking for someone who is independent, but social enough for a home environment to be comfortable, has a good sense of boundaries, and is tidy. The entire apartment (both bedrooms and baths included is approx 780 sq feet, and it is quite easy to live in the space and have plenty of privacy, alone time etc. There are days where I don’t ever see my current roommate because of our respective schedules.

I am age agnostic, as I think fit of personality and values matters more.
