Hillary's room

Hey potential roomie! I’m Hillary, and I’m on the hunt for someone to fill a private room at the Palatial Garden in Maillardville, Coquitlam. I’ve been holding down the fort here since 2021, and I’m excited to welcome someone awesome into the mix! The room available is the master bedroom upstairs – awaiting your personal touch. It’s unfurnished but spacious, and comes with a closet and a window! Rent will be $1200 with 25% of utilities on top of that. While you would be sharing the communal spaces with three other roommates, there’s always plenty of room for everyone. I value a clean and organized home. If you’re a fellow tidy enthusiast, major brownie points for you! I genuinely enjoy sharing experiences and creating meaningful connections with those around me. If you value reliability and a down to earth approach to life, then I think well get along just fine. You can expect me to always be striving for a comfortable and harmonious living environment for everyone living here. We’ve got a massive shared kitchen, already stocked full with appliances and anything you would need, plus dedicated pantry space for all of your food. The living room has big south facing windows and is very spacious. Typically used for chilling and movement. Always room for more yoga mats! We have two bathrooms, and a dedicated laundry room for all your laundry needs. There is also a huge wrap-around deck, backyard and front yard surrounded by trees, plus lots of street parking. You would also have access to infinite gardening space around the property! My two cats have got the place covered in the fluffy department, so I’m currently not considering any additional pets. Living here you might find yourself apart of spontaneous deep chats and whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, or having the whole house to yourself!

We’ve got a good balance of social vibes and quiet moments. We are a queer-friendly bunch of female and non-binary folks in our mid-20s to early 30s. Our interests include outdoor activities, dance and movement, building and carpentry, gardening, slack-lining, acro yoga, design, festivals, events, travel, plant-based baking, and music.
