Available UNTIL September 30 2025 only : 1 shared, cozy room in my home with a comfortable, clean, twin sized bed with new bedding, lots of pillows and heated mattress cover.

The room is private and sound proofed.

There are 2. 5 bathrooms so we can all have our things in our own cabinets. I have two cats who live upstairs with me, and are very friendly and tame and have clipped claws. They’re indoor only and because of them there are no other pets allowed, sorry! They don’t go downstairs as there is a door between upstairs and downstairs.

You’ll have a quiet space with a comfortable bed, lots of bedding, a bedside table, closet, a lamp, clothing storage, lots of extra blankets in case you get cold (there is air conditioning in the summer and it’s a basement so it is cool).

Separate entrance There is laminate flooring throughout so I have brand new soft, fuzzy carpets beside the bed. There is an eating area with a toaster, a keurig and a kettle, and lots of cupboards for food storage both up and downstairs, as well as large fridges to share. You will cook upstairs in the kitchen and there is space in the upstairs fridge for your refrigerated food. The house is a 2 minute walk from a bus stop, and it’s a 15 minute walk to Okanagan College.

This is a very safe, friendly neighbourhood where many of the neighbours and I have lived for decades. There is parking space on the road. There’s also a cozy area outside to have a gathering now and again, and you can use my barbecue. There are decks all around the house, too, so you can choose one and do yoga or read, or just drink tea and listen to the birds. The garden is full of flowers and plants except for winter (of course). It’s a natural garden so it’s got tall plants everywhere. You are welcome to help me grow, harvest and eat produce. I have raspberry canes, strawberries, a peach tree, an apple tree, two hazelnut trees and an Italian plum tree.

I have laundry in the home, and all utilities included. The bedrooms are cozy and there is a spacious living room with a TV and a roku device. I’m looking for a roommate who is interested in staying long term and making this house their home, but short term will be considered.

I’m a middle aged professional female (she/her) with an adult son who lives in his own home with his own family and visits me frequently. I love to cook and garden. I’m very laid back, and friendly. The house is a 20 minute bike ride from Canoe Beach. I want this to be a place where you can be comfortable and feel at home.
