Rental: 1 private bedroom in a 3 bed/1 bath, upper unit in split house (basement unit separate)
Available Date: June 1st, preferably 6 month term, can potentially move in sooner
Price: $900/month. Plus an additional $10-$20 occasionally for household items like toilet paper, soap, paper towel etc, when I restock them.
Rent includes hydro, water, internet, laundry, use of kitchen, common spaces, and 1 parking space.
Location: Near Keele St and Broadoaks Dr by The Pond and the York University Keele Campus. Walking distance to Walmart, Finch West Subway Station, and in a quiet neighbourhood with close parks.
Rental Terms: Sublease roommate – Rent will be paid to myself (current tenant). There will be a written roommate agreement. Required documents: ID, a letter from your employer that states your annual income, first and last month’s rent.
Hi everyone! We have 1 private room in our house available for a month-to-month, but preferably a 6 month rental. Rental period is very flexible and can be discussed to fit your needs. Rooms are not furnished. Bungalow style layout, bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining area all on the same floor. Separate side door for access to backyard, there is also a front porch as well.
We are looking for a quiet student or working professionals, who clean up after themself and are good with animals. If you have a pet that can be discussed if they are good with both cats and dogs.
The house is fully equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and common areas minus plates, cups, and eating utensils, just please treat everything with care. Laundry and dryer are available, the kitchen is fully equipped with working appliances including a dishwasher, and the bathroom is a full bath with a heated bidet. I clean the whole house once a week (minus private bedrooms) and so you just have to clean up after yourself in the common areas, like the kitchen and bathroom.
We would like to know as much about you as possible and meet you in our house as well. We will only accept a respectful and reliable person as our roommate, who helps to keep the space clean and is good with pets (approval from the little guys is a requirement).

I have lived here for the last 3 years with my dog, cat, and my partner. We are the ages of 25/28 and working professionals. I work at a dispensary downtown and my partner works as a dispatcher for a repair company.
When we aren’t working, I enjoy, cooking, baking, and spending time outside, and my partner is an avid reader, enjoys listening to music, and likes history.
We have 2 pets, our dog Rohnin is an Australian Sheppard mix and our cat Teddy is a black cat. Rohnin has been raised with cats and Teddy with dogs so they are both very friendly, Teddy needs to be given a bit of time to adjust to large dogs and eventually he wont be so shy.
