Close to transit, shopping plaza and sky train. 1 bus straight to SFU, and a very safe and beautiful neighborhood filled with natural tree lines, view of the mountain close to the ocean and near by Burnaby lake. If you are athletic, we are surrounded by sport complex, golf course, outdoor swimming pool, nature trails and a skating rink. Truly a wonderful peaceful neighborhood good for anyone looking for a warm, comfortable home great for studying for students and or anyone just looking for some tranquility and peace.

My husband and I are quiet, personable working professionals born and raised in Canada, that have been supporting homestays for about 6 years now. We have a young toddler and a cat. We are currently hosting a Highschool female student from Taiwan. You will have your complete privacy in our downstairs basement suite of 1300 sqft. fully furnished living space with seperate kitchen and private entrance. You have a private room, shared bathroom and kitchen with your own fridge and pantry for food storage. You have only one roomie downstairs at all time.

We love nature, cooking, family boardgames and pickle ball. We are really friendly and busy with our super active toddler. We love to cook and experiment with new healthy recipes. We love travelling experiencing new culture and cuisines. As a School Teacher, I get my summer’s off and always do a big trip every summer with my family. Hence, I love hosting international students and leaning more about new cultures and customs. I truly am a lifelong learner and am very open minded and would love to host like minded roomies that are also respectful to cultural diversity. I have built a lot of friendships and connections over the years with international students all over and hope to continue to do so. I believe in fostering good relations and keeping the peace in the family as a home should be a place of love, respect and mutual understanding.
