Fantastic location in Brentwood which has consistently been voted one of most liveable and desired neighbourhoods in Calgary. Street parking in front of house. Great transit access to downtown. Considered part of inner core. About a 25 minute walk to University of Calgary (20 if fast walker). Close to bus line, can walk to train station and a single block from Northland mall that has a large Walmart with groceries, stand alone restaurants such as McDonald, Edo, Chipolties along with a Dollar store, Winners store and Good Life fitness facility. Also has a coffee shop and upcoming large Italian shop opening in 28026. Across the alley there are numerous small Asian restaurants, Alberta Registry Service, hair salon and other small businesses. Gas station across street. Three minute walk to Coop grocery store, gas station and Coop Liqour store with Canadian Tire across parking lot. Ten minute walk to train station which has another shopping complex with Safeway grocery store, Boston pizza, Earls restaurant, wine store and other small specialty shops. Safe neighbourhood.
About the roomies
One other lives here in my home. I am a junior high teacher who works mornings and often stays for part of the afternoon. I have two sons; one who lives in another province (I visit him) and another who splits time between two houses. We have our bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. My son spends majority of his time studying at U of C, or in his room working, reading or chatting with his long term partner who lives in US. He is very sociable so is out alot and works weekends, (I don’t even see him very often!) I spend a lot of time in my room also… working, reading and napping. We both are very easy going, sociable and super chill. Please note that the downstairs bathroom will be mainly yours. We require it to access washer and dryer.
