Beautiful 3 bedroom character house just off commercial near trout lake. wood burning fireplace, high ceilings big windows, a piano, dishwasher, onsite laundry shared with downstairs, big patio, claw foot bath tub, big trees, amazing artsy neighbourhood - very short walk to the train station!

These pix are old - house is fully furnished and decorated to the nines (bedroom is non furnished but has a built in shelving unit). Will update with new photos soon. I work in Set Dec - so decorating is a big love of mine! Looking for someone who will love and appreciate this beautiful home as much as we do :). The other roomie, Jim, also works in the film industry and is around my age (35). We are looking for someone mature, responsible and communicative. I am a music producer, audio engineer and visual artist, Jim is a videographer/director/writer/podcaster. Your room would be adjacent to Jim’s, and you would share a bathroom with him. I am upstairs in the attic with my own washroom, but we all chill together, watch movies, have meals and banter together often, or just pursue our creative stuff in our own spaces and plop cat pix and memes in the group chat here and there to let eachother know we are still alive. We do tend to be night owls when we don’t have an early call time. You would need to be okay with some noise at night - though if we know someone needs to get up early we can be respectful of that. We support eachothers aspirations and creative pursuits and hope for someone similar.

We are welcoming and support all forms of gender identities, sexual orientations, origins and races. No bigots allowed. We’re all about artsy, motivated, and positive energy. Ideally, you’re passionate about your craft and striving to reach your goals, just like us! We are communicative and chill and respect each other - allowing each other to be our weirdo selves. We take pride in a beautiful, functional and clean space. We are definitely not clean freaks, but we expect a roomie who is going to do their fair share. There are times that one of us will be too busy to keep up, so we pick up each others slack when we can - but the idea is for things to feel equal and for things to be able to be communicated respectfully and for there to be mutual values. If you clean up after yourself, and are willing to do some chores once a week then you’ll be just fine in our world!

We aren’t party animals, but do like to have fun times with friends here and there. We both come from the world of festivals and raves, and are semi-retired but come the summer we sometimes still attend - but usually to work in creative roles. We are 420 friendly and accepting of other mood altering substances as long as its practiced with moderation, intention and harm reduction awareness.

And of course—you MUST love cats! 🐱 They’re part of the package! We might be open to another cat, but no doggos sadly - though we do love em.

We are somewhat flexible for move in dates for the right person. You could move in as early as April 1st. If this sounds like a good fit, send me a bit about yourself and what you’re looking for in a place! 😊
