Room available in a smoke-free, updated house on the far West end of Dewdney. Available March 1st and beyond, with all utilities included in the rent. The lease itself is done in May, as you are actually taking the spot of a previous roommate; but if we mesh well and you like the house, we are open to doing another year on the lease with you.

The place has three bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a combined kitchen, dining room, and living room. Basement is off limits, as the landlord runs a bakery out of it. Less storage space, of course, but sometimes we get free bread :) There is a small deck out front and a medium-sized front yard. The back has a storage shed and two parking spots, one of which is available to use (the other one is used for the bakery).

Neighbourhood is nice, we’ve never had a problem with the neighbours nor any strange characters. House is walking distance from the gas station and a couple restaurants, and No Frills is only 4 minutes away by vehicle.

The available room itself is unfurnished, though we’re happy to help you move in your stuff, and it has a closet. Besides that, all the common areas are furnished with mostly my furniture, so really all you need is whatever can fit in the bedroom.

Hoping for similarly aged 20-something, either working or student, who is looking for a low key, if a bit small, quiet place to chill at. Reference and proof of income preferred. Move in date can be whenever, we don’t really mind.

Me (24m): Working professional, total night owl, and sometimes a tad too loud when playing games after work. I’m partly disabled, but I still pull my weight where required.

Kailen (24m): Sleeps all day, works nights (5pm-Midnight), and enjoys a good smoke sesh. Incredibly quiet, you’d be hard-pressed to hear a sound coming from his room.
