About the room
This apartment is located in a very good spot right off McLeod Trail and a five minute walk from a Walmart grocery store. Transit is available around a 10 minute walk from the property. The neighbourhood is pretty quiet and family friendly and neighbours are very nice. Parking is available for a fee if you own your own car, and we have our own private patio!
This ground floor apartment is 2beds, 1 bath and is fully furnished with everything you might need. There is plenty of cupboard, fridge, and freezer space and appliances like an air fryer, dishwasher, keurig coffee maker, juicer, and more! Your room is the only unfurnished part of the apartment but I am more than willing to help you find some things if needed! There are plenty of stores and thrifts in the area. There is no in-unit laundry but there is paid laundry through the complex and Coinamatic.
Bills average about $75 each a month, and heat + water are included with the rent.
I have a long hair cat, Murphey, who is friendly and affectionate with people, but prefers to be the only cat so unfortunately I cannot approve someone else with a pet. If you love cats though, he’s a charmer.
About the roomies
Hi! I’m Aimee! I am 20 years old and looking for someone who wants a short term (to potentially long term) lease to sign onto from August 1 to December 31 as my current roommate is moving out. I am quiet and clean, and prefer to keep to myself though would love to have a new friend to hang out with if that’s what you are looking for. Ive been in culinary school since mid March so on top of my full time job I will not be home often throughout the day, so the house will pretty much be yours! I enjoy a laid-back lifestyle and am a homebody on my days off, though do love going out occasionally (especially to concerts) and am always down to accompany for groceries or errands.
Murphey is my pride and joy, and he is definitely spoiled but very loved. If you like an affectionate little buddy, you two will be fast friends! He likes to talk and look out the big living room windows at the birds, but his biggest happiness is food (so please don’t leave out any snacks!).
