I just acquired a building and am in the process of moving in. I’m looking for a roommate to come live here starting in April/May.

The apartment is a 5 ½ (2 bedrooms, with the possibility of setting up a private living room for you and access to the backyard), located in Hochelaga, near Ontario Street and Joliette metro station, close to all services. The cost is $900, all utilities included. I can furnish your room and your space according to your needs.

I’m a research assistant at UQAM, with a background in biochemistry and bioinformatics. In my free time, I make electronic music (techno/psytrance/zenon). If you’re passionate about music, science, existential discussions, psychology, outdoor adventures, or climbing, that’s a bonus! But an open mind is a must. Part of the common space could even be used as a studio for production/jamming/DJing/karaoke.

Despite some occasional zoomies (yep, energy needs to flow!), I’m generally quite chill. I appreciate a healthy and respectful environment, where everyone has their own space, rhythm, and privacy. If we share moments together, great! We can joke around, create, cook together, grab a drink… but without expectations—everyone has their own life.

I’m also open to your ideas to improve the space: a garden this summer? A chicken coop? A self-sustaining aquaponic shrimp farm?

You’ll also be sharing the space with Haru, my very sociable Bengal cat. I’m open to couples, temporary stays, medium- and long-term rentals if the fit is right.
