About the room
We have 1 large room for rent in a 3 bedroom + 1 bath lower/basement unit in Alta Vista. Rent is $666.67 + utilities (wifi, laundry, gas, hydro, A/C). Lease starts May 1st, 2025 - May 1st 2026 (possibly available earlier)
House is furnished, except for bedroom advertised. The room will fit a Queen or King bed + desk or other furniture. There is also a closet and built in set of shelves in the wall. The backyard is shared with the upper unit and includes a patio space.
Bus stop right in front of the house and a short 10-15 minute commute by car to Carleton or UOttawa, or a 30 min train/bus to uOttawa and 35 min to Carleton. Under a 30 minute walk to CHEO or a short bus.

About the roomies
We are two young women looking for a roommate for the third bedroom in our basement apartment. One of us is a young professional and the other is a student with a very friendly hypoallergenic dog. We keep the place fairly tidy and would love to find a roommate who we get along well with.
