We live in a lovely old house close to the rail trail and transit. The house is warm in winter, has AC in summer, a small backyard, good front porch, driveway parking, lots of natural sunlight, a big open plan dining-living room, and a fairly small but manageable kitchen with a door to the backyard. There is laundry and storage in the basement. It’s been nicely renovated, with hardwood floors and old house charm. Our landlords are nice and very responsive/helpful. No smoking in the house but on the porch/backyard is fine.

The room is small with a window facing the backyard and a small closet. It will fit a double bed + dressers and that’s about it. It’s on the second floor. 3 of the rooms are on this floor, along with the bathroom, while a 4th bedroom is upstairs in the attic. There’s a second bathroom in the basement. The room is unfurnished but the rest of the house is kitted out.

We are three friends and former coworkers, all late 20s/early 30s. We’re pretty social at home and are looking for someone who also enjoys shared living and hanging out with their roommates. We are 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 and neurodivergent friendly. We have a fairly quiet routine during the week and often have friends over for dinner in Saturday or Sunday. We’d like to meet your friends too!

Sage is a middle school teacher who enjoys hiking and reading in coffee shops. Caedon is an illustrator, spreadsheet queen, sailor, crafter, and is currently studying early childhood education at Mohawk. Emily loves plants, works as a crewing coordinator aka she organises crew on cargo ships, and is a chaotic force of fixing/destroying items in the home. We all love animals.

Some of us like board games, some of us like video games and some of of like watching bad reality tv. We like making dinner together fairly often, having porch beers with friends, and volunteering in our community.

Full disclaimer, we are average at cleaning - things are kept fairly clean and tidy in the common spaces, but not spotless. We are improving at staying on top of the dishes. We’re looking for someone who is at least as clean as us, but not so clean that you will be annoyed at us.

We also have a sweet old dog, he’s well behaved but prospective roommates should know he sometimes barks at night. If you have a pet that’s a possibility, as long as they are well behaved and would get along with Dex.
