Room also listed on Facebook I am subletting a furnished room beginning from June 1, 2025. This is the largest room in a 3 bed, 1 bath house. There is possibility for extension of the lease.

Rent is $715/month with heat and water included. Hydro and internet is extra (approximately $40-45 a month total for the two bills).

Your room will come with some furniture (bed frame, a chest of drawers). The rest of the house is furnished in the living room (sofa, armchair, TV) and kitchen - you can use the utensils, pots, pans and dishes in the kitchen as well.

UOttawa is about a 20-25 minute bus, it is also a 20-25 minute bus to Parliament Hill area, Byward Market, CF Rideau, etc. The nearest bus stop from the home is about an 5-8 min walk (6, 7), with the 9 to take you to Hurdman Station about a 12 minute walk. Carleton is more of a commute - but it is a one-bus route, 45-55 minutes.

There is a Loblaws about a 5 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk, and a Metro about a 12 minute walk from the house.
