About the room
I’m subletting my room for the summer in a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment. You’ll have your own private room and will share the common area and kitchen with other roommates.
The apartment is fully furnished with a microwave, refrigerator, stove, dining table, sofa, and more. In your room, you’ll have a bed, mattress, mirror, dresser, and study table. The space is well-lit, spacious, and there’s plenty of storage both in the room and throughout the apartment.
The building offers on-site laundry facilities, a gym, and a conference/study room.
Location is super convenient:
10-minute walk to the UofA campus
2-minute walk to the bus stop
5-minute walk to Safeway
10-minute bus ride to NoFrills

About the roomies
For the first 6 weeks, you’ll be sharing the apartment with two other tenants (a parent and daughter), as they will be living in the other room until mid-June. During this period, the rent will be $650/month. After they move out, the rent will adjust to $970/month for the entire apartment.
The current tenants are quiet, welcoming, and like to keep the shared areas clean and tidy. Quiet hours are usually from 11 PM to 7 AM. You are welcome to have friends over. During the day, they are typically not home, so the apartment stays fairly quiet.
