About the room
Looking for a female (late 20s-30s; or non-binary) to rent a large, finished attic room in a beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Great location. Near Union & King st. Waterloo, ON. It is a 8-minute walk to Grand River Hospital/Station, and a 15-minute walk to Uptown Waterloo (access to grocery stores, transit, restaurants, shops, etc.). This is a lease transfer.
Amenities: Dishwasher, on-site laundry, large backyard + patio, free parking, garage and unfinished basement for storage, and three amazing (female) roommates (young professionals). We have a great landlord. The house is very spacious which is wonderful for working from home (2 floors (plus attic bedroom) to hang out/work in. Also in a great neighbourhood close to parks and walking trails. Price: $675/month + utilities (total cost is usually $750-$800 per month). Price is non-negotiable.
I can leave the queen bed for you, if needed. I will not be leaving the hanging rack.
About the roomies
We are looking for someone who is interested in participating in community dinners, as we take turns cooking for each other. We share in household chores as well. Also, we have a cat (we cannot have another cat). Our preference is for someone looking to rent for at least a year, but we can be flexible if it is the right fit. Move in date July 1st (possibly sooner).
