Hi there! I’ve got three rooms available for rent in my warm, welcoming home in Vernon. This is a rare opportunity as all three rooms are available at once, so I’m taking the time to find the right fit for a positive and sociable house environment.

🧍‍♂️ About Me & the House Vibe: I’ve lived here for almost 10 years and regularly rent out rooms. I spend a lot of time at my girlfriend’s place nearby and share parenting of my three awesome (but sometimes noisy!) kids, who are here two evenings a week and every second weekend.

This isn’t your average room rental. I encourage a social, respectful, and community-minded atmosphere. We’ve got a cozy living room with a big TV and a record player, and I really hope you’ll make use of the space beyond just your bedroom.

We also love to cook, hang out, and enjoy the garden—you’re welcome to pick from the herb and veggie patch whenever you like!

💵 Rent & Terms: $900/month, due on the 1st

Includes all utilities + internet

$450 damage deposit required to hold a room (non-refundable if you back out)

Deposit becomes refundable security deposit upon move-in (cannot be applied to last month’s rent)

Rooms available May 1, possibly sooner (note: rooms may be painted between now and then)

📝 House Guidelines: Do your dishes by end of day

Help out with regular house chores

Respectful noise levels—music is welcome, but be courteous

“Overnight guests” are fine—moving your partner in is not

Share pantry and main fridge items, but you’ll have your own fridge and food cupboard too

Provide your own bath/shower towels

Everyone chips in for shared basics (toilet paper, dish soap, etc.)
