About the room
Here’s some info about the apartment (1313 square feet). Rent is going to be 1150$ or 1300$, depending on if you opte for the master bedroom (178 square feet) or the secondary one (125 square feet, which is still quite large). The apartment is quite spacious in general, includes a large sized kitchen, a large living space, 1 large bathroom and a seperate in-apartment laundry room (includes washer/dryer). This charming apartment, a vintage townhouse with a renovated interior, comes furnished, wifi and utilites included, has quite a lot of storage and most of all is in fantastic spot in the Mile end (Plateau-Mont royal), right beside the intersection of avenue Parc and Laurier Ouest. Theres a huge amount of bakeries, cafes, restaurants, groceries, thrift stores and even late night snack places all within walking distance (truly a dream location). Theres a lot of high frequency buses at a 2 minutes walk, including the 55, 51, 80 and 24, and is 15 minutes away from laurier station (metro). It is 20 minutes away from Mcgill by bus and drops you off right on campus. Open to students and young professionals :)
About the roomies
My name is Nishka, I speak french and english and I’m going into my first year at McGill in Physiology. A little bit about me : I’ve been in Montreal for 2 years, doing cegep at Brébeuf. I’m aiming to get into medicine, so a quiet place for studying is a priority, as well as a clean living space to ensure that everybody is happy. However, I am very social and would be open to getting to know/hanging out with my roomates, whether it’s going to a calm cafe, going out to eat or going out for drinks (activities that are very accessible and nearby in the mile end!) Bringing over your own friends is obviously welcome, as long as there’s an open communication to ensure that everybody is happy and feels respected. My interests include music, watching anime, going out dancing, fashion and reading. Feel free to contact me on this website with any and all questions, and I would love to have an in person meeting, if you reside in Montreal, in order to get to know each other better. The goal is to have a peaceful but fun environnement, with open communication in order to maximize a healthy and cooperative living space.
