Room Available in a 7-Person Cooperative Household (NW Calgary)Hey potential roomate!
We are a 7 person community house looking for folks to fill the recent vacancy in our home. We’re looking for authentic folks who may like to join us in boardgames, gardening, meal sharing (you cook for us, we’ll cook for you!), community events, personal growth and connection. Our current resident ages range from 30–72 and are open to the idea of children in the house.

What Is Available To You:
Shared meals a number of night each week Men’s circles, sisterhood Sundays, open to workshops Seasonal conscious parties, urban gardening, deep democracy And yes, board games and backyard fires under the stars.
The Room + The Home
- Furnished private room in a renovated 7-bedroom house with:
- Heated floor in one of our your shared bathrooms + a tankless on-demand system so hot water never runs out
- A fireplace room, a den/playroom, and shared office
- Well-equipped kitchen (granite counters, induction stove, Berkey, Vitamix, FOUR fridges)
- Solar panels, composting, and rainwater collection
- Workshop garage used for building, meetings, loud fun, and the occasional overnight guest
- Food gardens front and back, firepit, patio, and trees for hammocks
- Indoor bike parking, bus stop right out front, 15 mins to downtown
- Walking distance to Confederation Park, and a 10-min bike ride to SAIT and U of C
What We Ask 45 mins of chores/week, join us for 2 meetings/month, and a willingness to show up kindly, communicate honestly, and try stuff out together. We each contribute to the house and community as much as feels right for us. Many of us have our own art/business/personal projects to work on too.
