I am looking for a roommate to whom I could sublet the second bedroom in my two-bedroom apartment. I would prefer to have someone move in by September 1st at the very latest, but preferably as soon as possible.

The bedroom has a built-in closet and is furnished with a bed frame, mattress + memory foam topper, and a side table. The bed is a double / full size. I intend to eventually acquire curtains and a chest of drawers for the room.

The cost of rent is $720 monthly which is due on the first day of the month. It includes everything aside from electricity; which is split two-ways. Usually, you would end up paying ~$65 every two months. There is an initial $360 deposit which would be payable after the viewing if you intend on moving in.

The building is located in Armdale. It is easily accessible by bus: bus 22 stops right outside of the building and bus 24 stops less than four minutes away on foot.

The kitchen has a dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, refrigerator/freezer, oven/stovetop, and microwave. The coffee machine in the kitchen photo belonged to my roommate who just moved out so it is no longer here. There is ample space for cooking. There is already cookware, plates, glasses, and cutlery here.

There is a laundry room on the same floor and on the floor below. We have an adequate amount of machines, it’s rare to find none available. A cycle costs $3.50 on both the washers and dryers. I have a drying rack that you could borrow.

The apartment comes with one parking space which I use, but if you have a vehicle I’m sure that something could be arranged since there are plenty of unused spaces.

No pets. No smoking.

I am a blue-collar worker and I work all day between Monday and Wednesday. Outside of that I am usually at home. Ideally I’d live with someone who’s okay with just coexisting most of the time just because I have a remarkably low social battery; but I don’t mind hanging out once in a while.

Heavy preference is given towards those who intend to stay for at least a year or more.
