Room for rent near Algonquin

We have a room available for rent, for $650 from (July available instead if desired) August 2025 to April 2026, with a nice big window. Utilities average $80 a month on top (electricity, gas, water and internet)

There is a shared kitchen with 2 fridges and dining room, lots of counter space with a ketlle, toaster and microwave. And a cupboard for each person with extra space over one of the fridges with shared baking supplies. There is a large living room with 2 couches, a table, tv, boardgames and a piano. The bathroom is shared with 1 other, and there is a large common space in the basement. There is a front porch with a bench seat, perfect for sunsets with a large oak out front and there is a large backyard with a covered deck, table and chairs. and nice trees and garden. There is also parking available with a large driveway and a garage for storage.

Room is unfurnished but a desk could be available.

Walking distance to Algonquin, 4 grocery stores, many local independent grocers, the library, restaurants, cafes, hardware store and the nearby bus stops.

There are 6 of us in the house, Emma, Charlie, Kaylie, Allayna, Esther (moving out) and myself and we are all young professionals with some doing grad school at Carleton and school at Algonquin.

We like to to art nights and boardgame nights together and have done group dinners and movie nights, and chat and hangout. We have a lot of hobbies, people like to paint, go for walks, bake, bike, run, keep plants, do sewing and knitting, crochet, embroidery, cook, play music, watch movies and read, go to cafes and markets, play boardgames and cards and find new hobbies!
