Hi! I’m looking for a female to share my 2 bedroom Garneau condo with, a few blocks from the UofA. Female student or younger professional, preferred.

About the Condo: Bright, sun-filled space built in 2000, 2 bedrooms & shared bathroom. Small balcony with in-suite laundry. Electric fireplace, hardwood floors and dishwasher. Fully furnished unit; your bedroom includes a bed, desk, and small dresser (can be removed if you prefer your own furniture). The condo is about an 8 minute walk to the University of Alberta and a block from the hospital. Safeway is just down the street, just off Whyte Ave. Storage unit included. I am using the parking spot currently, but other owners/tenants sometimes rent their spaces; there is street parking right out front.

The condo board has a strict no smoking policy—no cannabis, cigarettes, or vaping anywhere on the property.

A Bit About Me:
 I’m a 23 yo university student in a combined Environmental Sciences and Native Studies program. I love animals, reading, thrifting, downhill skiing and nature. I value kindness, respect and being open minded. I am looking for a roommate who is the same—ideally someone who can be a friend, but who also values personal space and quiet time. I have a good core group of friends, and hang out with them a fair bit, but also enjoy spending down time at home. I enjoy going out occasionally but am not super into partying.

I like for our shared areas to be clean, but am flexible, and understand if our place gets a bit messy at exam time. It’s important to me that our space feels like a little sanctuary, and expect that we can work together, with good communication, to create that, for each of us. I like to have a few gatherings with friends during the year (ie. cocktail night, cookie decorating, games night), and would appreciate a roommate who is ok with this. Of course you would be invited! Racists, narrow minded, judgemental, dishonest people need not apply.

I have a cat, so you must be okay with cats. While my girl loves people, she is wary of other cats.
