This home is quite big and very nice inside. You get 2 bedrooms for yourself in this two-storey home, just a few minutes walk from Carburn Park in a very nice part of Riverbend (quick to any part of the city by car and bus stop less than 5 minutes walk). You also have a private bathroom with tub/shower. The home is mostly furnished but you will need to furnish your rooms and if you have extra furniture, there is a main floor “family room” that you can furnish. There is a dishwasher & washer and dryer. There is a great deck to sit on in the summer. There is a small yard that we are responsible for cutting and a sidewalk that has to be shoveled in the winter.

You are quiet, clean and non-smoking, including cannabis. You have no problem talking things through if there’s a problem. There never needs to be a confrontation as I am very approachable and willing to talk. There is a property management company involved that requires you to apply with an $80 application fee and 2 or 3 recent pay stubs. There are extra expenses: Utilities range from $250 to $375/month that we split evenly, there is a cleaner that comes every 2 weeks, $120/cleaning which we also split and satellite (which I don’t know the cost of but intend to get us the best deal possible). If we can’t manage to cut the grass and shovel the snow, that will be another expense.
