About the room
Located in Wildwood, with a direct (approx. 20 minute) bus route to USask! Conveniently located near grocery stores, a shopping mall, bus terminal, and civic centre with a pool and library. The basement suite includes a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room, and laundry. There’s a gas fireplace for chilly nights, and a back yard with plenty of space and patio furniture. The available room is the larger of the two, with a small walk-in closet, as well as a shelf, desk chair, and two small bedside tables. (No pressure to keep them if they’re not to your taste!) I have plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen that can be used by the both of us, but you’re more than welcome to bring along anything else you may need. We also have a high-efficiency washer and dryer on-site, and all utilities including wi-fi are included with rent! The house is generally very quiet, and at the request of the upstairs neighbours, is to remain scent-free. Smoking and vaping outdoors are permitted, though! Unfortunately, we’re not able to accommodate any new cats or dogs in the house, but small pets (rodents, reptiles, fish, etc.) can be discussed with the landlady, so long as they are properly cared for and cleaned up after. The room is available starting July 21st, and will be deep-cleaned before your arrival!
About the roomies
Hi! I’m Lejo (they/he)! My landlady has put me to the task of looking for a new roommate, so we’ll talk first, and then I can forward her contact info to you! I’m entering the fourth year of my BFA Honours in Studio Art at USask, and am really looking forward to getting to know you! I’m 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly, and would prefer someone else who is as well. I spend a lot of time at work or on campus, and tend to keep things pretty low-key while I’m home, but appreciate some good company and conversation. Seeking someone who is also quiet, respectful, and organized. In my off hours, I like to read, swim, draw, listen to music, and am big on sci-fi and horror TV and movies! We have upstairs neighbours! They’re a nice elderly couple with a little poodle, and are always up for a visit. One of them has COPD, and so the house is kept fairly cool and dry, and we ask that scented products are kept to a minimum. This means no strong-smelling cleaning products or detergents, no burning of candles, incense, or strong room sprays, and no perfume or body spray if visiting upstairs.
