Big, bright, private room, on the main level of a beautiful shared home, with epic views of the ocean and mountains. You would share the kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms with two other people.
We’re looking for a student or working person who is serious about achieving their life goals - like all of us here. We want someone who works or studies outside of the home during regular daytime hours.
Rent includes everything: all utilities, fast internet, and housekeeping of the common areas. You only need to tidy up after yourself in the common areas and do not have to do any household chores.
Our home is very special. It has both the peacefulness of country living and all the culture and amenities of the city.
No or smoking/vaping inside the house. There is a sober vibe here. We don’t want any heavy drinking or drug use. There is a big friendly dog and a cat living here. We would consider adding a cat but no more dogs.
The room is huge, 200 sq ft. It’s bigger than some studio apartments these days. There’s room for a king bed, sitting area and desk. There are two windows for a cross breeze and natural light. The heat is electric which you control. The room is in a quiet corner of the home on the main floor. We can provide furniture if you wish or you can bring your own.
You will have full access to the shared laundry. In the kitchen you will have a large amount of cupboard space and your own fridge. You are also welcome to enjoy the living room, yard and garden. Having friends visit is allowed. We want you to feel at home.
There’s plenty of free street parking if you have a vehicle. We have dry, secure bicycle storage.
We’re located in very quiet, safe, upscale, friendly neighbourhood with gorgeous homes and gardens. We’re located exactly half way between the Lion’s Gate and Second Narrows Bridges. It’s a 15 min drive to downtown Vancouver, Burnaby or East Vancouver. We’re at Lonsdale and Braemar in North Vancouver. The commute to CapU is about 10 minutes by car, 30 minutes by bike (an ebike would be helpful with all the hills), or 45 min by bus.
The business area of North Vancouver, which has everything you need, is a 5 min drive away. There’s good transit to to anywhere in Metro Vancouver, right outside our door.
We are 3 blocks away from an access point to all the incredible north shore hiking and world renowned mountain bike trails. Amazing natural beauty - creeks, waterfalls and forests are a few minutes walk away. There are 3 ski hills within 30 minutes of our home.
