Offering a room in a shared, two bedroom apartment in the west end of Ottawa. Available September 1st, 2025 to August 31st, 2026. Selected person will need to complete necessary forms to be accepted as an occupant by building management.

The room is 9’ x 10’7” with a closet and built-in shelves, it does not come with furniture, decor or window coverings, so please bring your own. Furniture, decor or appliances for shared areas are potentially welcome, please ask first. The apartment is spacious and bright, with new wood floors. Electric baseboard heating in the main room and both bedrooms. Living room/dining room has a portable air conditioner, a large, screen smart TV (no cable) and a balcony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven and instant pot. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower. The building is conveniently located near a transit station and several grocery stores, pharmacies, banks and other stores.

Rent/utilities (prices are your half of costs):

Deposit: $870, returned at end of lease

Rent is $870/month, not including the following utilities:

Hydro: $30~/month (current price, will be higher in winter with electric heating)

Internet: $30

Laundry facilities: $2.50 per wash/dry

Parking: $70 for outdoor, $85 for indoor

Water is included and the apartment provides the following free of charge: outdoor pool, fitness room, resident lounge and terrace with picnic tables and barbecues. I do not have a landline but the door buzzer can ring a cell phone.
