Rent is $1,682 per month, all included minus wifi and parking($132 PER MONTH, WAITLIST). Your share of the rent would be $841. Laundry is in the basement building(Additional storage space in basement).

The bedroom is furnished but can be demounted if you would prefer to use your own furniture. You can also access the garage parking to store your bicycle/car.

In short: The Abiwin co-op provides a safe space for the LGBT+ community or other minoritized group.

As such, I am looking for someone who is quiet, clean, honest and is interested in the community spirit.

Additional info: The co-op also gives you access to a wood workshop, a large sunny patio that comes with a barbecue, a cage to grow plants during the summer months. This space shared with other members of the co-op. Several events throughout the year are also prepared by the community members.

The apartment is: • 2 ~5 minutes away by foot from Independent, Farmboy, bus stops, restaurants and many other small stores. • Bus stops close to the unit: 5, 6, 7, 11, 14 and other routes to Gatineau The LRT is also a few blocks away • 15 minutes walk away from Chinatown (You can take bus 11 ) • about 8~15 minutes walk from uOttawa • 15~20 minutes bus ride/bike ride to Carleton U! I am from Mauritius but moved to Ottawa about 9 years ago for my studies. I am now in my late 20’s and working. I am a homebody and enjoy quiet hobbies. I love cooking and willing to share if the time allows. I am clean but disorganized, but try my best to contain my mess within my room. Willing to hear your suggestions on the chaos.
