Hi, I’m looking to find a roommate to fill a private room in a 4-bedroom, 1-bathroom house in the heart of Quadra Village, about a two-minute walk to the Fairway Market and the 4 and 6 bus stops. The kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, front yard, laundry room, attic storage space, and home gym are shared spaces you’d have full access to. Rent includes all utitlities except for internet, which I currently pay $108/month for and am happy to switch if you know a better deal!

The available room is a bit hard to make sense of with photos. It’s shaped like an L, but it’s a decent-sized room (130 square ft) that can fit a queen-size bed and has its own separate heating system so you have total control over how cozy you want to be in the winter! It is in the attic though, so during the summer I would recommend getting a small air conditioner if you plan to spend time in there during the afternoon.

The bedroom also comes with a den that you could dedicate to whatever you’d like. Do you want an in-home office? A guest room? A hobby room? You decide! I’ve dedicated the other den to an in-home gym you’d be welcome to use, and would ideally like to share access to whatever you’d like to use the other den for, but if you’d like total private access to the den for your exclusive use that can be negotiated as well.

A lot of the house is already furnished, but if you’d like to bring your own stuff for the common areas I’m happy to be flexible. Also, the house has a ~200 sq foot attic that’s sitting almost entirely empty right now, and you’d have full access to that storage.

Hi, my name’s Taylor and I’ve lived in this house with various combinations of three other roommates since 2017! I’ve happily shared this living space with social butterlies and people who’d rather keep to themselves for a long time, but now that I’m in my 30s and the opportunity has presented itself, right now I’m just looking to rent out one room to share the house with a single individual or couple (4 people sharing one bathroom is not something I see myself going back to). I enjoy playing video games, working out in the gym, and cooking easy meals in the kitchen.
