Hi, I’m looking for one roommate to share a house in the heart of Quadra Village. This will remain a 2-person household — the goal is to keep the space quiet, comfortable, and not overcrowded.

Each of us gets:

• a private bedroom
• a private den (office / hobby room / guest space — totally up to you)

The available bedroom is ~130 sq ft, fits a queen bed, and has its own separate heating system, so you can control your temperature in the winter.

It is located in the attic, so it can get warm in the summer — a small AC unit is recommended if you spend a lot of time in there during the afternoon. The layout is a bit L-shaped, so it’s easier to understand in person — happy to show you during a walkthrough.

The rest of the house includes:

• full kitchen, dining, and living room
• shared bathroom
• laundry
• fenced front yard with plenty of space for gardening or outdoor use
• ~200 sq ft attic storage (mostly empty — plenty of space)

Location:

• ~2-minute walk to Fairway Market
• close to the 4 and 6 bus routes
• street parking available
• central Quadra Village

Rent:

• $1450/month + internet (~$45 each)
• All other utilities included
• Note: rent is reduced as I’ll be using the private parking spot behind the house — street parking is available.

A lot of the house is already furnished, but I’m flexible if you’d like to bring things for shared spaces.

Hi, my name’s Taylor and I’ve lived in this house with various combinations of three other roommates since 2017! I’ve happily shared this living space with social butterlies and people who’d rather keep to themselves for a long time, but now that I’m in my 30s and the opportunity has presented itself, right now I’m just looking to rent out one room to share the house with a single individual or couple (4 people sharing one bathroom is not something I see myself going back to).
