SINGLE BEDROOM 7 X 8 square feet room with South-facing window and a built-in closet. Cozy bathroom will be shared with one more tenant.

SHARED SPACE AREA This is a house built in 2017 with lots of air and space, equipped with the fire alarm system. The main level has front and rear entrances. There is a high-grade kitchen with granite countertops, an expansive living room area, one washroom and several built-in closets for e.g. outdoor clothes and equipment storage. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a newer dishwasher, a large gas stove with five burners, a microwave and a toaster. The tenants are welcome to bring in additional appliances; there is lots of space :) The living room area features a vintage custom-made hardwood dining table with a set of nine chairs, a leather couch, and a TV screen. The upper area of the house has three bedrooms in total, two bathrooms, large new LG washer, and large new LG dryer.

BACK- AND FRONTYARDS There is a cozy patio set on the front porch, a clover lawn attracting the bees, a cherry tree and two blackcurrant bushes. The backyard has a BBQ grill and fireplace for shared use. A garden table and four outdoor chairs are available for outside dining.

LOCATION The Town of Cochrane of Greater Calgary Area. This is a rapidly growing and busy town of 38,380 residents as of 2025. Our house is located between Calgary and the Rocky Mountains. The drive is 42 km to Calgary downtown. Known for the vintage ice-creamery and famous sawmill, Cochrane is the near-countryside choice for families and students from Calgary, and allows for a balanced, active, and healthy lifestyles. Cochrane downtown is accessible from our house on foot (a roughly 45min scenic walk) or a short bike ride; alternatively of course, a 10 min drive. Town maintains a dense and interconnected system of bike paths, including those along the beautiful Bow River.

You’ll be sharing space with three or four more people. Two of them (TBD) will be living upstairs, and the house owner (54 y.o. geoscientist) will be living in the basement. The outdoor cat lives in the house, so we cannot accept dogs or cats, other pets are acceptable.
