Roommate Wanted – Bright Garden Suite (Cat-Friendly, No Couples)

Hi there,

I’m looking for a roommate (sorry, no couples) to share my basement suite. I’m a 46-year-old woman, work full time, and live here with my friendly senior cat. I’m social but more on the quiet side—definitely not into loud parties.

What you get:

A large bedroom at garden level with a patio door/window.

A big private den (will be cleared out before you move in).

Shared kitchen, bathroom, and a small den for storage.

Separate entrance to the suite.

Access to the backyard and the landlord’s beautiful garden.

About the suite: The place is bright, spacious, and in a safe, welcoming neighborhood with great neighbors. I’ve turned the large living room into my private studio, so you’ll still have plenty of space to yourself.

Rent: $1200/month + $600 damage deposit. Includes heat, hydro, garbage, and internet.

Other notes:

Cat-friendly home (no dogs, per landlord).

Landlords live upstairs with a young child who can sometimes be a bit noisy, but it’s not bad.

Close to transit, Mary Hill Bypass, and Poco Trail.

I’m a very social and outgoing person, and I love meeting new people. My job is a wax and laser hair removal technician, so I spend a lot of time talking and connecting with clients. When I get home, I really appreciate a quiet, peaceful environment where I can recharge. I think it’s important for us both to have our own private space, but I would also love to socialize and get to know you. I have a 15-year-old female cat who is very well-behaved and clean. She’s great with other cats once they’ve had a chance to meet properly.
