We have one room available upstairs in our 5-bedroom townhouse (4 upstairs, 1 in the basement). The upstairs room is unfurnished but had a closet and access to a large, shared full bathroom. Rent is $670/month and includes water. We split the other utilities evenly (hydro, gas, hot water, and wi-fi) for approximately $60-80/month per person. The kitchen has a stove, two fridges, a freezer, dishwasher, and a microwave with plenty of cupboards and counter space. The basement has a large washing machine and a dryer and lots of storage space. The living and dining rooms are fully furnished and have lots of comfortable seating to hang out or host guests on occasion. There is hardwood and laminate flooring throughout the home and plenty of daylight and good lighting. The gated backyard is fully fenced with a large wooden deck and patio furniture perfect for relaxing and having dinner on summer evenings. The Carleton Square community has an outdoor pool in summer. We are on bus routes 86 and 111. The 111 is a 15 minute bus ride to Carleton U and connects directly to the Line 2 train and Billings Bridge Station. Route 86 goes to Tunney’s Pasture Station with the Line 1 train. Our area is quite walkable, with grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and a medical clinic within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

We are looking for a female grad student or upper year undergraduate student who is clean, quiet, studious, easy-going, and respectful. We are an upper year undergrad, a master’s student, and two PhD students in our 20s who take school seriously. We like to keep the common areas clean and tidy with a weekly chore. We all have busy, variable schedules and like a quiet house during the week and at night. We would like someone who is clean, quiet, easy-going, and respectful.
