About the room
🌟 Spacious Bedroom in the Glebe Available Now! 🌟 Hi there ! My name is Malak, and I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for the largest bedroom in our cozy 4-bedroom apartment in the Glebe. Unfortunately, I have to move out earlier than expected, but that means you get the chance to move into a really special place with some amazing people !
✨ About the room & apartment: The bedroom is super spacious, big enough for a queen bed, a desk, dresser, and still plenty of room to move around. It also has a large closet for all your storage needs. The apartment itself has a bright living room (perfect for Netflix nights), a fully equipped kitchen, and an in-unit laundry room. Rent is $675/month + utilities (around $64 in summer, less in winter).
✨ The location (it’s a gem!): The apartment is in the heart of the Glebe, one of Ottawa’s safest and most student-friendly neighborhoods. You’re just steps away from Bank Street, Lansdowne, Dow’s Lake, and Chinatown, which means cafés, restaurants, and tons of job opportunities are right outside your door. Multiple bus routes (6, 7, 10, 14, 85, 56) make it super easy to get around, and you can be at uOttawa or Carleton in only 20 minutes.
✨ Why this place is perfect for you: If you’re a student or young professional looking for more than just four walls, this is the right spot. You’ll have your own huge room in a warm, respectful, and fun household !
📩 If this sounds like the home for you, send me a message right away! I’m hoping to find someone to move in as soon as possible (ideally before September 1st), so don’t miss out on this rare find in the Glebe.
About the roomies
Who you’ll live with: You’ll be living with three wonderful women between the ages of 21 and 27, all of whom are students. They are respectful, responsible, and easy to live with, which makes the apartment a very pleasant environment. The shared spaces are kept tidy and organized, and everyone contributes to household essentials, which keeps things simple and fair.
Although each roommate has her own busy schedule with work and school, there is also a sense of community in the apartment. They enjoy spending time together when possible, whether it’s chatting in the kitchen, watching something in the living room, or going out for a spontaneous late-night snack. The balance of independence and friendliness makes the apartment feel both comfortable and welcoming. Oh and there’s also a sweet, friendly cat in the house, so you’ll need to be pet-friendly 🐾.
